We’ve been planning and building since we closed down Kilkenny On Ice 2010 last January and we think we’ve created a fun filled festive winter leisure experience for young and old alike.
This year we’re introducing Leinster’s first ever Ice Slide which is 30 metres long and packed full of honest to goodness, real life ice! We also have bungee trampolines & rodeo reindeer. For those of you with really young children we’re also introducing George and Peppas kiddies corner which is free of charge and close enough to The Ice Cafe so that you can enjoy a nice coffee or Hot Chocolate while your children are enjoying themselves close at hand.

Ice Slide - €2 per slide or €5 for 3 Slides

Due to circumstances beyond our control, it has not been possible to operate The Kilkenny Ice Express as planned.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience that may have been caused. The Kilkenny Ice Express was to be operated by a third party under agreement to Kilkenny On Ice. The third party cannot now deliver the service as agreed. Despite extensive efforts on our part we have not been able to secure an alternative operator and therefore cannot now provide the service. While this circumstance is completely outside of our control, we are none the less very sorry if we have misled anyone and would like once again to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or upset that may have been caused.”
Opening times from mon 9th - sun 22nd Jan:
Weekdays: 3pm - 9pm(last skate session 8pm, closed at 9pm)
Weekends: 12pm - 9pm(last skate session 8pm, closed at 9pm)
PLEASE NOTE: all sessions commence on the hour every hour & you get 50 mins skating. Please arrive at least 20 mins before the session you wish to skate.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no need to pre-book/pre-pay for tickets! If you just arrive at the rink at least 20 mins before your preferred skating time, you can just pay at the ticket desk on arrival.
